The kids MAYA PAPAYA Volant Skirt material keeps the little ones all cosy and warm. It has a very soft feeling, but allows to get worn also during the summer weeks through its breathing material. It is made of a high quality and 100% organic cotton fabric, a wonderful jersey. The cut of the skirt is unique with its volant, flared shape that provides a special appearance to everyone that wears it.
The handling of the skirt is fairly easy: Wash it up to 40°C with similar colours. But please note, the fabric may shrink up to 5%. The skirt is digitally printed with non-toxic water based ink and holds the independent Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Only textile products that contain a minimum of 70% organic fibres can become GOTS certified. All chemical inputs such as dyestuffs and auxiliaries used must meet certain environmental and toxicological criteria. The choice of accessories is limited in accordance with ecological aspects as well. A functional waste water treatment plant is mandatory for any wet-processing unit involved and all processors must comply with minimum social criteria. The MAYA PAPAYA Volant Skirt is produced and assembled by our tailor close to Warsaw, Poland. All fabrics and garments are hand selected. Both the design and the print of the MAYA PAPAYA Volant Skirt are of course designed by Little Man Happy 🙂
